Visit our Farms

Santa Fe & Coffee

Santa Fe is known for its coffee production.  Though there are individual small farms with their own labels, most (over 100 farmers) participate in the Santa Fe Coffee Cooperative, where our beans are pooled, roasted, ground and packaged together in two brands: Cafe Tute and Cafe Santa Fe.

Where to purchase:  Coffee can be purchased at the Torrefactora or at any one of the supermarkets in town.

How to learn more:  Currently, there are three options and providers are listed below. (1) You can go visit a private farm. (2)  You can go on a formal coffee tour, visiting both a farm and processing plant. or (3)  You can visit the packaging plant on your own

Other crops: Many farmers in Santa Fe use sustainable agricultural techniques.   We grow rice, corn, beans, and root vegetables often for our own consumption.  Many have opened their doors for visitors.  Advanced reservations are recommended.
